Like every Skilsaw the new model 5155 has been designed with easy handling in mind. The ergonomically shaped front handle provides a secure, comfortable grip for good control of every sawing job, and allowing for optimal comfort when using the tool for long periods of time. The spindle lock feature allows for quick and easy saw blade changing with the included wrench. The safety lock-off switch on the 5155 has been designed for both left and right handed users, with switch release buttons on both sides of the handle for maximum convenience and comfort.
The high performance 12 tooth Tungsten Carbide tipped 170 mm saw blade, which comes as standard with the 5155, is ideal for both rip and cross cuts in timber and even the toughest particle or composite boards like kitchen worktops. With the Skil 5155 the ability to create plunge cuts is also possible with the lower guard lift lever, giving the user a variety of cutting options.
