A combi drill, is designed to work as a standard drill, but can also be a hammer drill. You will have a lot of rotational torque, with the hammer feature able to be turned on and off. A hammer drill, usually has three settings: hammer only, hammer and torque, or torque only. They usually have more hammer and less torque than a combi drill.
