• Purple seeded with long smooth stringless pods, plants have excellent vigour giving a long harvest period.
• Runner beans grow well in moist soils but benefit from soil that has been well dug and manured.
• Grown as ground beans without any support their size should be contained by pinching out growing tips when shoots are 9-12in (23-30cm) long, yields will be lower.
