Info Pages | How to Order
1. Placing an Order
Choose the products you wish to purchase by browsing the website using the product categories or search facilities.
You can easily edit or delete items from your shopping basket by going to the 'Your Basket' page.
As you add each item to your basket, the carriage charge is constantly recalculated so that you can easily establish the delivered price for your goods. Carriage charges are calculated as soon as you add an item to your basket, so you do not need to register or be logged-in to see the carriage charge for an item.
Completing Your Transaction
Once you are happy with your selection proceed to the checkout where you will be required to provide your name, address, delivery and payment details over a secure server connection. Upon completion of the checkout you will receive an email confirmation of your order.
2. Delivery Info
We use a variety of carriage methods to ensure that the most cost-effective service is always proposed for your selection. The carriage service proposed is always displayed at the bottom of the Your Basket page. You can click the carriage links in that section to see further information on the carriage service proposed.
Our carriage charges depend on a number of factors including the weight and size of the consignment. Certain items include Free Delivery and these are clearly marked within the site. If your basket includes a Free Delivery item along with other chargeable items then the overall carriage charge will be reduced by the value of the charge that is attributable to the Free Delivery item.
You may be requested to enter your postcode when adding certain items to your basket. This is to ascertain whether your address is within our local delivery area. If so, a slightly lower delivery charge is quoted
We dispatch all consignments on a next working day basis. Providing an item is in stock we endeavour to dispatch all orders received by midday on the same day. We dispatch orders Monday to Friday and do not dispatch or deliver during weekends, unless you specifically request a Saturday AM delivery in the Basket or Checkout pages.
Orders over £ 350 are free of postage and handling charges.
Ensuring Smooth Delivery
Deliveries require a signature so please ensure someone is available to sign for the parcel upon delivery. When receiving the delivery from the carrier please examine the outer packaging before accepting delivery. If there appears to be any sign of damage to the packaging please make a note to this effect beside your signature. Please be specific about damage and do not simply state 'unchecked'.
Note: When placing an order we request that you supply us with a daytime telephone number so that you can be contacted quickly in case of a query with your order.
If you have any queries regarding your order please contact Customer Services via email (email@example.com) or telephone 0800 731 0860.
3. Your Contract with Us
When you place an order online with this site you are making an offer to buy goods. We will then send you an email acknowledging that we have received your order.
Once we have checked stock availability and prices we will send you our dispatch email to confirm we have accepted the order and that a contract has been made with us.
When a delivery is delayed due to stock availability or unforeseen factors (including pricing errors), we will advise you of delay within 24 hours of receiving your order. We will provide an estimate of the likely dispatch date and allow you to cancel your order if this is unacceptable. If you decide to cancel your order under these circumstances we will refund to your card within 24 hours. Similarly, we will refund within 24 hours of receiving your order if we discover that we are unable to supply the item at all due to stock availability or unforeseen factors including pricing errors.
4. Cancellation & Returns
You can cancel your contract at any time up to 7 working days after the date of delivery. To do so, please email us or write to us [click here for Contact Details] giving a brief outline of the reasons for which you are rejecting the goods. To cancel the goods you must return them to us at your own expense ensuring they are packaged adequately to prevent damage in transit. If you prefer us to arrange collection we will make arrangements with our carriers and deduct the cost of carriage (which is equivalent to the dispatch carriage cost) from your refund.
If you fail to return the goods we will collect them and deduct the cost of collection from your refund. Also, if you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us and damage or deterioration occurs we will charge you for their reduction in value.
This cancellation policy does not affect your statutory rights.
5. Faulty Goods
If the goods are in any way defective please contact us immediately. We will deal with this in accordance with your legal rights.
We accept the following credit and debit cards:
